At APULULU Kitchen, we create Latin & fusion culinary experiences inspired by Cuban and Mexican roots with Spanish influence. Our work centers on catering in Tampa Bay, personal and private chef experiences, and pop-up dining events, often blending food, visual art, and live music into immersive moments.
Designed for private events, intimate dinners, and cultural gatherings, each experience reflects our belief that food is an art form and connection is the main ingredient. While our format has evolved, our identity remains the same—bold flavors, creative expression, and heartfelt hospitality.

We are Chef Taimi Carrero García and visual artist Raciel Gómez Golpe—a husband-and-wife team blending culinary art and visual art into one creative vision. Our story began in Cuba, creating experiences where food, culture, and creativity came together. After a heart transplant in 2018, Chef Taimi embraced her passion with renewed purpose, and in 2021 we founded Cooking With Love, offering intimate paella experiences and personal chef services rooted in soul and storytelling.
In June 2024, we launched Apululu Latin Street Food at Foodie Labs in St. Pete’s WADA District, celebrating Latin-inspired Cuban-Mexican fusion with a Spanish touch through food, art, and community. Today, that journey continues as APULULU Kitchen — powered by Cooking With Love, a new chapter focused on catering, personal and private chef services, and curated pop-up events across Tampa Bay.
